I kid you not...in their own words.
There are films that head off into unusual territory.
Dog Poo - the truth at last is in a place all of it's own. The first feature film ever made about dog poo.
Now I would be the first to admit that when the idea came to me (I literally stepped in it), I thought it was at best a short film of 6 minutes. Ha! The more I researched the more I found that not only was doo doo a worldwide issue, it was also a serious health concern. The subject was in fact epic.
From dog poo powered street lights in Boston to dog doo trackers in the remote Australian outback, the subject was vast. The film, not the dog poo.
"Team Poo" ended up filming in 8 countries and criss-crossed the globe. On the way we found: Pam in England who was fined for picking up the wrong poo; ex boxer Dr Pooper in New Jersey lecturing on how to scoop; Dog walkers in Argentina who are blamed for every poo on the pavement; and a man in Ireland who ran for public office on a no poo campaign (he lost).
Dog Poo - the truth at last is a journey into Science, the Law and Education to find what can be done about an eco poison polluting 20% of rivers in the USA.
If dogs are man's best friend, maybe it's about time we started returning the favour and started to scoop?
Come and travel the world and discover ...
Cheers and trust in poo,
James Boldiston
