Harringay, Haringey - So Good they Spelt it Twice!

Don't miss your chance to sit on a good book with @BooksaboutTown

Hurrah for the school holidays and the chance to be tourists in our own big city.

This year, have a little extra fun with the Books about Town book benches - there are 4 trails and yesterday we hopped on the 141 to London Bridge and got our literary kicks on the Riverside Trail.

We did this one first as it featured a lot of the books that my kids have read and loved, including the lovely Clarice Beanand the mighty Doctor Seuss (Don't imagine yourself lounging with a book on Ralph Steadman's Alice or reading the sonnets on Shakie's bench at the Globe as there is a steady stream of eager trail goers taking photos and even reading out aloud their fave bits of the author on the relevant book bench).

We loved this so much we're 'orf' to Bloomsbury next where the theme is definitely The Great English Novel - be warned you only have until the 15th September to complete the trails.

Is anyone else just leaving their children to lark about in Harringay? Mine have complained that no one else is around.
