Harringay, Haringey - So Good they Spelt it Twice!

Kew are undertaking a renovation of their Palm Houses and I am working with a company that might have an approach that could help them and I suspect they may not be aware of the solution. I want to put the company and who ever is in the project team on the renovation in touch.

If anyone has a contact at Kew they would not mind putting me in touch I would be very grateful.

Thanks!

Dear Justin, I wonder if a project nearer to home might also benefit from this company you are working with. The Palm House at Wolves Lane Plant Centre!

The building is in a fragile state, has no working ventilation fans or heating (!). I am a volunteer there and we would really appreciate some expert input.

As it happens I know someone who works in research at Kew, but I am not sure she could put you in touch with the right people. I thought that the Temperate Palm House had already been restored recently.

Best wishes.

I know which one you mean Pamela. Sadly they are a small cog in a bigger wheel. They have a vacuum based grit blasting systems that stops paint microplastics escape into the environment (soil/water).

Your post did make me think though that the folks in Kew might have a full time job after this project restoring other palm houses around the country with their knowledge and expertise... It would be nice!

Hi Justin - I sent you a DM
