Harringay, Haringey - So Good they Spelt it Twice!

I received the attached letter from Haringey a few days ago, notifying me that unsurprisingly the owners of Diyarbakir restaurant 1t 52-3 Grand Parade are appealing the planning decision that prevents them expanding into a third adjacent shop, currently Poziomka Polish deli. I can't make out from the letter whether I need to object again, or whether previous objections are taken into account as still valid.

In any case, if you didn't comment before and would like to now, you have until 11 January.

Maddy, you can read more about this over on the other threads.

You can still send in another letter to the planning inspectorate as stated in the letter. Ususually if they are not taking these they do state that the deicision will be bnsed on already submitted documents and facts.

Although the inspectorate should normally decide based on planning policy and law, of course they are swayed by various submissions and you will find that different inpectors can come to different, sometimes bewildering, conclusions.

Send anotyher objection in. Keep lobbying new peopole to send these in. Try and base your objections as much as is possible on planning law and policy that you find online.
