Harringay, Haringey - So Good they Spelt it Twice!

disappointing

I read the recommendations for the new Hanci restaurant in Green Lanes recently so took my visitor from Hong Kong there yesterday for lunch unfortunately we were told that there were no starters because the cook wasn't there all we were offered was 'stew' -  little overcooked bits of meat with undercooked beans in tomato sauce only good thing was the Turkish coffee!

Sally, thanks for reporting your findings. It seems like whilst this visit wasn't good, your visit in January was rather more satisfying?

sorry, Hugh; don't remember the January posting   was it when Zer opened? Food OK (there is also one in Crouch End) or was it querying the length of time the refurbishment of Yayla is taking?

My first visit to this restaurant was also my last. Not really cutting it for me either in food or service. Maybe I caught them on a bad day but wasn't inspired to give them a second chance.
