Hi everyone, although I've been a resident for a few years now, I've only just decided to move to a more local dental surgery. As I've had both a very poor and brilliant experience of doctor's surgeries here, I'm a bit nervous about finding a good and ethical dentist. If you have any personal recommendations, they'd be so much appreciated. I live on the Ladder, Turnpike Lane-ish end.
Many thanks! :)

If Muswell Hill is within your orbit then Smile Matters (212 Muswell Hill Broadway, N10 3SH Tel:020 8883 1356) are really excellent. Good with people, children, special needs. NHS or private. Treatment options are always discussed. They are all very caring.
Thank you. I'll try to find somewhere a bit closer but I will keep your recommendation in mind. Many thanks again!
I've been using John Fenton dental surgery for years (his father was my dentist before him) 574 Green Lanes, just before the Salisbury pub if your walking up from Turnpike lane. He's very good. 020 8800 1637
Thank you so much. Distance-wise, it sounds perfect. I will give them a call. Thanks again!
My wife and I started going to M&K Makan on green lanes about 18 months ago, and it's a really friendly and professional practice.
I was a bit worried about finding a good local dentist after having access to a place in central London for years through work, but now I wish I'd switched sooner!
For the record, I've been a patient at Manor House Dental Surgery for some years and have not had any such problems. I've found the staff to be very pleasant and have not so far had any issues with the treatment done. I pay the NHS rate and nobody has ever tried to make me convert to private. The only problem I have encountered is that they do not accept card payments (only cash).
Pickerings in Islington is great. Wouldn't go anywhere else.
