Dental road show comes to Haringey
Access to dentists in Haringey is easy says NHS Haringey’s dental team as its road show kicks off next week.
NHS Haringey's dental teams will be raising awareness about how local people can access NHS dentists and keep their teeth healthy on 22nd February outside Wood Green Library and on 23rd February outside Morrisons in Wood Green from 10am – 5pm.
A dentist and staff from NHS Haringey will be on hand offering 'mini check-ups' and advice on keeping teeth and gums healthy. They will also answer questions and provide information on how to access and book appointments with your local dentists. Dental directories will also be available outlining vital information about where, when and how residents can access the dental services they need.
Dental contracts manager for NHS Haringey Amol Joshi, said:
"There are more local NHS dentists than people think. We have 49 dental practices in Haringey and they’re all accepting new patients. Many more dentists are also now open for longer hours making it even easier to visit your local dentist."
