Demise of Free Parking in Westminster?
In case any of you are confused and assume there is actually any free parking in Westminster, there is at certain times of day... However, seems even this will change.
I wonder how long it will be that this creeps this way? Given the issues folks have mentioned previously that the CPZ and parking restrictions have made this area of the world a night time venue, I wonder how this might affect things?

They do want to park where I live, by the tube station. At the mo, the CPZ stops at 6.30. Fortunately we're not yet inundated of an evening, I guess people haven't yet sussed, or maybe the two roads right by the station catch it all. The huge 4x4s that commute to the church on the corner just park all over their pavement, I don't think they can read road signs. Shame about the smashed kerbs but LBH Parking says it's not their problem.
This time band was brought in a few years ago, it used to be a 24/7 CPZ but with several free 2-hour bays. I preferred that.
It may get worse here when the one-way conversion is done, currently you have to go all round the 1 1/4 miles of it to access this block of free parking.
