Harringay, Haringey - So Good they Spelt it Twice!
Demand for local fascists exceeds supply!
Recent weeks have seen the proliferation of fly posting by the North London 'Anti-fascist' Network which I assume to be a little tubby pierced fellow spending too much time on the internet in his Mum's spare bedroom in Muswell Hill.
Messages include: stop the 'fascists', get Israel out of London, all cops are b***ards, evil capitalists are responsoble for the ills of the world etc etc etc
This perplexes me because I have lived here my whole life, which is now a fair old stint, and I have never seen anyone in jackboots marching around calling for the end of democracy or harassing homosexuals, gypsies, foreigners or the disabled. In fact, I've enjoyed living in one of the most tolerant and inclusive cities in the world and in one of the most diverse borough's within that city.
This begs the question of who and where are these 'fascists' that have so vexed the 'anti-fascists'? Are there any or is it just a youthful fantasy of some Walter Mitty types fighting an imaginary wars against imaginary villains?
Nevertheless, I was amused to see how simply a display of patriotism has negated the flyposted messages of hate opposite the Salisbury pub today. Well done to the anti 'anti-fascist' wags resposnsible.

I wouldn't say that the counter-graffiti opposite the Salisbury is 'simply a display of patriotism' - if you go closer, you'll see that "anti Brit c*nts" is scrawled across them. Not sure which 'imaginary villains' wrote it - maybe a false flag op by the original flyposters?

May have been more patriotic to simply remove them rather than covering the window with car paint which will cost to get off.

I like the 'Are you a communist? Then get organised' stickers.
I can picture the aspiring communist's parents telling him/her to tidy their room, comb their hair and get a job.
If they were 'organised' the youthful appeal of communism would rapidly disappear.
