Harringay, Haringey - So Good they Spelt it Twice!

Hi,

I am wanting to dip my toe (or at least my nearly 8 year old sons!) into the world of cubs... I tried to go down the woodcraft folk route, but soon realised that that pretty much involved setting up a group... so decided against it.

I was wondering if anyone has any experience of local cub packs, as I can imagine they differ hugely depending on how they are run and who contributes.  Any advice welcome!

I have posted details of the 2nd Haringey Scout Group here - they recently put up an advert at South Harringay school but that's all I know I'm afraid.
I'm one of the cub scout leaders for 2nd Haringey. Not sure if my number's on the website link which Liz provided but do message me and I can provide that. We meet on Mondays behind Wood Green Shopping City.
And if you're in the market for a bit of local cub nostalgia while you're about it, David Rogers has added some pictures of the troop that used to meet at the end of Allison Road.
I know someone whose daughter went to woodcraft folk meetings near (at?) St Aidens school on Mountview Rd - don't know if they are still going?
We can vouch for the 2nd Haringey group.  My son has lots of fun there and it is a nice group and leaders
Just wondering if there any other local cub scouts in N4 and N8 areas, that might be closer than Wood Green? Also what time do they usually meet?
For Haringey there appear to be a couple of groups in Muwsell Hill & the "2nd" mentioned by dane66. There is also seems to be one in Holloway Road, though it's not clear if that's just scouts.
The one in Woodgreen is just behind Lidl (100 meters or so from the N8 sign).  I dont know where you are but from Lausanne Road it is less than 15 mins walk.  They meet on Mondays at  6pm
