Crazy Squirrel Behavoiur
Has anyone seen squirrels doing this?
I filmed this from my back window a few months agos and was reminded of it by Squirrel day (which is tomorrow 21st Jan).

Well obviously the leaping is to avoid going down to ground level where they feel vulnerable especially to cat attacks. My garden backs onto to Railway Fields and they launch enormous distances between the trees... they do occasionally miss which falls into that category of stuff you shouldn't laugh at but you can't help yourself. But who on earth decided we needed a Squirrel Day???

Not sure about squirrel day, but this squirrel had already done this about 5 times in a row before I started filming. I must admit it looks fun.
