Are you a cyclist who could help get families into the saddle and lead them around the borough?
British Cycling are organising several recreational cycle rides and related activities, inspired by the London Olympics, to encourage residents to take up cycling.
Haringey Council has agreed to be one of the host boroughs for these organised cycle rides which will take place during the summer and autumn of 2012.
British Cycling now need to recruit Cycle Ride Leaders and Cycle Route Planners for Haringey. They will be paid from £35 to £65 per cycle ride or route planned, depending on the ride/route length.
Applicants would need to be able to plan, deliver and evaluate rides for groups of beginner and intermediate level children or adults.
Rides would take place on Sundays and some Saturdays in the spring, summer and autumn and applicants must be able to help on at least four rides.
A free one day training course will take place on Saturday 31st March.
Applications must be returned by March 9th.
