I suspect that Starmer's concerns are a bit closer to home at the moment.
I thought he wanted to release the sausages rather than hide them.
If it's true, this will bring down the government. These young men have either been manipulated by Ukrainian or Russia intelligence agencies or someone has opened themselves open to blackmail and thus put our national security at risk.
I suspect a D Notice is already in place and that the court case will be closed to the public. We might find out what really happened in 30 years or so.
The odd thing is that they seemed to act on old information. The car once belonged to KS, and the house he lived in was since rented out, along with the other he owns. The suspects are also apparently of a characteristic that may engulf KS into a scandal not seen since the demise of Jeremy Thorpe.

When are the trials?
This has all gone very quiet. The press aren't touching it all.
Anyone concerned about democratic freedoms and the possible use of super injunctions will be interested in this.
I can see why a superinjunctuon might be needed. If Mr Bridgen is correct and the press run with it, then the government would fall. Sometimes its better.for national.security if certain things stay hidden.
