Council garden centre Christmas event – 10 per cent discount

Wolves Lane Garden Centre will open evening this Wednesday from 6pm to 8pm/

A 10 per cent discount will be offered on its ‘home grown’ flowering Poinsettia plants. 'Keenly priced' real Christmas-trees to suit every home are also available but going fast.

The open evening is a chance to pick up a last minute Christmas gift such as mixed festive baskets or choose from the selection of top-quality real trees up to two metres high. Visitors can tuck into complimentary mince pies and mulled wine while browsing a great selection of gifts and plants.

The Green Pepper café on site will also be open for teas, coffee and refreshments. During the day from 12pm to 2pm the café is currently serving a Christmas menu including some delicious Caribbean-influenced options.

Seasonal music for the open evening will be provided by Wave, a local volunteer group from Muswell Hill, singing carols and festive songs. Wave provides opportunities for young adults living with a learning disability.
