Haringey Council is asking the public to be its eyes and ears in the struggle to stop fly-tipping in the borough.
Fly-tipping may involve dumping large amounts of items in open spaces or parkland, or, it might simply be a business routinely leaving rubbish bags in the street without making arrangements for them to be picked up.
The new waste contractor Veolia is challenging fly-tipping across the borough but sometimes fly-tipping is not reported and continues to blight some streets.
Veolia has an action plan to address flytipping and is asking anyone who witnesses fly-tipping to try to record the following information:
This can be reported to the council's using the Report a Problem page or by contacting the Veolia Haringey Contact Centre on 020 8885 7700 or email:enquiries.haringey@veolia.co.uk.
You can also use these contact details to report any dumps or fly-tips that you have noticed in the borough.
