Age Concern and Help the Aged is conducting a UK-wide search to find an inspirational person aged over 55 to champion the benefits of getting online.
Do you have what it takes to become Internet of Champion of the Year?
They are looking for an ordinary person aged over 55 who has learned to use the internet and thinks others should know about it too. It’s about using your personal story to inspire others who are currently afraid or unwilling to take that first step to get online.
And there's prizes...
The Internet Champion of the Year will receive:
* an all-expenses-paid trip to London for two days and one night
* high tea at a top secret London location
* a free laptop computer
* a complete BT package to include: BT Home Hub‚ Hub Phone 2.0‚ BT Total Broadband wireless internet for one year
* travel and accommodation paid for all public engagement opportunities taken on behalf of the Charity.
