Could 'Pennies for Plastic' inspire Harringay traders?

I was interested to read this story in the Journal about Crouch End's successful campaign not only to get shoppers to refuse the ubiquitous blue bag but that each refusal resulted in a penny being donated to Hornsey-based charity Action For Kids.

Wonder if local traders would be interested in something like this around here? Can't help thinking that local charities could make a small fortune in plastic loving Harringay
