About the Course (Ideal for everyone):

It will enable you to combine fresh, everyday ingredients into tasty dishes which support key aspects of health.  From hormone balancing recipes to digestive supporting salads, steamed dumplings to energy packed breakfasts.  This course is brimming with fantastic ideas and information about some of the world's healthiest as well as tastiest foods.  Handouts containing recipe details of the food cooked during the sessions will be given to the students. There will be a tasting session at the end of each class.  Our cookery teacher is a dietician and a nutritionist - during the cooking session she will provide you with health tips and nutritional information about the ingredients used in the classes.

Aims and Objectives:

The main aim of this course is to provide students with the skills to combine fresh, everyday ingredients into tasty dishes which support key aspects of a healthy lifestyle.  The preparation of the dishes is demonstrated by the lecturer and discussed in the context of therapeutic cooking.  We have conducted extensive research to make the recipes (a) part of a healthy lifestyle (b) quick and easy to cook (c) comparatively cheap and (d)  delicious.  We concentrate on healthy recipes which will especially benefit people with diabetes and cardiovascular (heart-related) diseases.

Please note that the places are limited and as such if you wish to enroll for the course please contact either Dipak or Hina Ali on 020 8889 6938 or email on dipak@asiancentre.co.uk
