I had a laptop meltdown this afternoon - joy - just as I was about to start an important piece of work. Anyway to cut a very long story short, I (in a monumental flap) contacted Marek who was recommended here.
I just wanted to concur with everything Lynette says.
I didn't think it would be possible to find someone to help at short notice, on a Saturday afternoon, near Christmas but Marek couldn't have been more helpful and patient. Something was amiss with the screen and thankfully relatively straightforward to remedy.
Thanks to him, I am writing this from my resurrected laptop - and I have finished my work. Hooray.

Marek sorted our desktop computer out recently - he is very efficient, friendly and helpful and we thoroughly recommend him (along with half of HOL, by the look of it)!

Marek is an absolute genius. He updated my old PC by adding extra RAM and new software and added extra RAM to the second hand MacBook that I have just bought. He also gave me a helpful tutorial on house to use my MacBook as I am a life-long Microsoft user. He is really helpful and friendly, and very knowledgeable. His rates are also very reasonable. I am so pleased that I used him and I wouldn't hesitate to use him again. I can't recommend him highly enough.

This is an old thread now, and that's a good sign: we're just the latest to find that Marek is helpful, speedy and good at dispelling panic stations!
