Harringay, Haringey - So Good they Spelt it Twice!
computer help
I saw 'free help' advertised but can't find it now; please advise! I use my computer for family contacts and work in environmental issues but I can't do my work as co-ordinator of our Neighbourhood Watch. Since BT changed from Yahoo to BT Mail, I can't use Group listing and can't face having to type all the names 2 or 3 times a week. I've tried friends and BT so-called 'help' was totally useless. any ideas?

I agree BT Mail is very clunky compared with Yahoo.
I found all my Yahoo mail groups transferred across without problem. However -
On the main mail window there is a button called " contacts " and you can then set up a new Group and drag selected addresses from your contact list.
Alternatively, if that doesn't work for you, you can create a new group in the pane on the left hand side under email account. Then compose a blank message in compose with all the addresses for your group including yourself, send it and then open it with your " sent " button. You can then move it to your new group and thereafter use that as your template for real messages.

also add to above: address book group listing worked when Marek changed it to two but now it doesn't John D: why did yours work after the change-over and mine don't? I'm letting my NW members down and driving myself potty!!!!!

John does not use the Mail in Macbook so his organisation is a bit different with group contacts.

Don't know Sally. I just found everything there but the BT mail is soooo clumsy to use I'm considering going elsewhere.

Marek got me gmail but still can't get my group listing thanks for bothering I'm going to have to have another go at BT so-called 'help'
