complaint about lack of notice for Tottenham Hale information days

Has anybody received notice of information days or events to learn about the Tottenham Hale regeneration plans supposedly happening 16th to 21st March?

At 7pm on Friday 6th I received an email inviting me to lead a Walk and Talk on Thursday 19th March if that was convenient. It might be, but the notice is unacceptably short.

Eight days notice is not unlawful, but it is clearly unfair. Even the email acknowledges the lack of consideration for public engagement by admitting: 'I realise its quite short notice and apologies for this but'. The 'but' bit indicates that the process will carry on regardless.

Let me know if you have received any notice about these events.

I have put in a formal complaint and will share that later. But hope that people can support me now with lobbying the Tottenham Hale councillors to get this 'info day' process halted given the start is a week today.

It can be introduced in three months time with adequate lead-in time and detailed information on the programme of events for people to get involved in.
