Harringay, Haringey - So Good they Spelt it Twice!

Now that we've had a couple of days to recover from Saturday's tenor recital, Music on the Ladder is ready to move on to the next event.... Come and Sing Vivaldi's "Gloria".

Local conductor David Went will join us again to put us through our paces in rehearsing and performing Vivaldi’s “Gloria”, all in one day, at St. Paul's Church on Wightman Road.

We’ll be kicking off rehearsals at 1.00p.m.  There will be plenty of tea and cake breaks during the afternoon, and we’ll perform Gloria at 7.00 p.m., with refreshments afterwards.  So, if you fancy (in the words of violinist Nigel Kennedy) “a bit of Viv”, please join us to sing or as an audience member for the performance.

Singers £10, audience £5.  Scores will be provided for singers who need them.  We'll be using the Ricordi edition.

Singers please book in advance by e-mailing us at musicontheladder@gmail.com, including the following information:

Hi Bethany, I've put this on Tottenham Community Choir's Twitter and Facebook accounts - will drop you an email,  looking forward to it :)

Awesome, thanks Tara-Lee.

Ah, I would love to do this - have a musical background and really miss singing - but money is really tight atm :-/ Have liked the FB page though and hopefully will be able to join in next time :-)

Just a little reminder that this is coming up in less than two weeks' time.  We have more than 20 singers signed up already, but there's still space for more, so it's not too late to join us - we would particularly welcome tenors and basses, but the more of everything, the better!  We've also got some fantastic soloists joining us, so it should be an amazing event!

Hello everyone!  A final reminder that the come and sing is this Saturday!  We've still got space for a few more singers, so let me know if you'd like to join in.

We also need an audience - no experience is necessary - just turn up for the performance at 7pm!
