i am looking to buy some cod roe to make taramaslalta but cannot find it anywhere! does anyone know where i could find some ?

they only sell it canned for some strange reason

In the past I've bought this from the Continental deli in Wood Green indoor market.
( There is also a fishmongers there who might be able to help.)

ohh yeah good idea! i didn't think of trying that continental deli shop, i thought it closed down, they will probally have it seeing as its popular with greek people !

I have definitely bought smoked cod roe form them not in  a can.  Failing that check out Steve Hatt in Islington or Billingsgate
