Harringay, Haringey - So Good they Spelt it Twice!

Chariot festival

Did you know there is a Hindu Temple in Harringay, in the group of shops between Fairfax and Falkland roads? Its their annual chariot festival today,  they take a chariot out around the block with lots of music and incense and colourful clothes. Really nice to see, here's a few photos as they came down Frobisher Road.

I went passed them preparing the chariot when I was on the bus but had no idea there would be a procession. I'm so sorry I missed it, But thanks Ant for posting the pictures.

That's beautiful. Hope there'll be another procession. Had no idea there was a local Temple.
