Car on fire in Priscilla Close

This was right behind my house, we were pretty concerned about the tree catching fire which could well have then spread to our house. Luckily, as you say, the fire brigade came quickly. I overheard someone from the close telling a neighbour that someone tried to fit a car alarm and it went spectacularly wrong.

I'm now masking the burnt out car smell by baking Halloween cookies.

Some relief(ish) if it was a poorly installed car alarm.

We just head two bangs looked out and then phoned the fire brigade.

We also back onto the Close so I might pop over for some of those cookies

Yes the bangs were pretty scary - my 4 yr old was really frightened. We called the fire brigade too but they were already on their way.

I'll post again if I find out anything else - once I'm no longer covered in black and orange icing of course
