Harringay, Haringey - So Good they Spelt it Twice!

A car exploded on corner of Stanhope Gdns/ Green lanes about 3.50pm. Really hope none hurt but didn't see ambulance,  just firemen. Think it was electric fault with car. Since then no internet or landline. BT say will be fixed by Weds. That's not good for all us working at home. Anyone else having this problem?

I'll go out on a limb and suggest that unlike the BT and Openreach engineers attending the Sandringham Estate, those working on Stanhope Gardens will not be nominated for MBEs.

Safe to assume they aren't working today despite it being upgraded to a MSO

What a joke.

If it was in the centre of London surrounded by offices they would be working on it night and day and it would be fixed by now.

There was certainly nothing happening yesterday; I haven’t looked yet today

Call your phone providers. My provider upgraded me to unlimited 4G to hotspot until the problem is sorted. Talk Talk did nothing and they provide the broadband.

Vodafone’s local 4G mast is apparently under maintenance at the moment- perfectly timed....

I just spoke to one of the shopkeepers who i recognised in of the photos in this thread.

He told me that Open Reach are  waiting for new casing (The exchange)  to be delivered and it should be fixed pretty quickly  once they receive it.

Not sure how reliable... but better than nothing.

On the phone to BT for our mini-hub at 8 this morning; now in the post, apparently. Any action in the street today?

Mine isn't even in the post and I spoke to them on Friday! Clearly I wasn't forceful enough

There is nothing happening at all today, just like all weekend - see photo linked to this tweet (taken at 10.20 am) for proof:

- I've done a quote-tweet of this to David Lammy

No sign of activity there.

Absolutely ridiculous

Must be something we can do to push them?

Some sort of rights?

Spoke to BT again, they are saying it's Openreach who are working on it, I was assured they are working on it... Should be fixed by this Thursday. I don't believe it.
