Harringay, Haringey - So Good they Spelt it Twice!
Can you recommend any shops for wine and real ale?
I like the occasional bottle of good wine or real ale, and many other areas near us have great offies (Kris WInes, Highbury Vintners, Borough Wines, Jack's) where you can can get a wider choice without going to a supermarket or chain store.
Most Harringay off licenses seem to buy at the cash and carry (fair enough) but are there any which I've missed that have good selections of wines and beers? For example Turkish Food Market do a few more real ales than most, but if you know of any others please share.

Bottle Apostle in Crouch End (on the Broadway end of Park Rd). Excellent range of wines between £10-£30 (Portugal and South Africa particularly well represented). They have two Enomatic tasting machines so you can sample quite a few wines in store. Pretty good range of beers too. Fantastic place.

Paddy took the words out of my mouth. Discounts on cases (mixed as well as unmixed). They'll also deliver for free, but in a slightly unorganised way as it is just the manager with his car when he's got a spare moment.

Jacks on Stroud Green Rd sells the best selection of UK & world beers you will find anywhere in London.

All of my suggestions shop-wise are covered above, but the OP has identified a gap in the Green Lanes market. I suspect it is only a matter of time until one of the more enterprising local traders catches on, but until then I will enjoy trying to guess whether Jack's is likely to be open, or whether I will walk down to Stroud Green to find the shutters up, or dragging my bounty from Kris's home on the 29...
There are some other options though. Beer wise, a few weeks ago at the Harringay Market, there was a guy selling local craft beers - good range, but a few had sold out because I turned up late. Hopefully he will be back. There is also a trader who sells cider from the Severn Valley once a month which is worth stocking up with (very reasonably priced, incidentally).
Wine-wise, Hugo, who lives in Pemberton and posts on here imports and has a great cellar and sells by the case (including mixed cases of his own finds) - hugoread.com

Thanks everybody, will certainly give bottle apostle a try. Good points there Malcolm, I bought from the beer guy at the market and also go out of the borough for good real ales and belgian beers.

Yes, the Severn Cider is excellent - well worth a trip to Harringay Market; as is the locally brewed bottled beer, when they are at the market.

The Lion King on Green Lanes has a decent if not excellent selection of beers for when you don't want to travel too far afield, and I am sure would be ameniabe to trying to stock others if approached. Sometimes you don't need something new, you just tweak what you already have.
Also Lidl and Aldi both sometimes have really interesting beers, albeit a bit hit and miss, but certainly worth popping into sometimes just to check.
