Harringay, Haringey - So Good they Spelt it Twice!

I have a few ideas but nothing that fills me with much confidence. If you click the image to enlarge it, you can see what looks like a distant church spire just to the right of the rightmost tree.

It might be impossible to locate, but 'd be grateful to hear others' thoughts.

Overlooking Old Park Chapel Crouch End from hogs back direction?

Looking at the 6-inch map of that period, no buildings are shown in the Hogs' Back area. It is clearly a high point , and I wonder if it could be the Shepherd's Hill area, with Crouch End in the dip on the right. There are some buildings shown as 'Shepherds Cot' in that area.

Thank you, Mark and John.

I'd wondered if that probable church spire might be St Michaels in Wood Green which had been completed a few years before the date of the drawing.

The Shepherds Hill option makes sense. However, I was struggling to place the spire. Christchurch wasn't completed until 1861. Old Park Chapel had a spire, but that opened in 1855. So, I suppose it's probably unlikley that the spire was finished by 1849. Maybe it's not a church spire at all!
