I like Dr Has at Umfreville road a lot. She's very practical. Worth saying I'm a bit hippy and the fewer drugs the better and the reason I like her is she has similar approach. Might not be your approach but works for me.

Worth saying the surgery itself is grim, shabby and unfriendly as all London surgeries are though!

Dr Has is off sick for about 4 mths, .... so a note at the surgery says

oh - I like Dr Haas. She always gives you the time you need. I hope she is ok.

oh no. that's v bad news. Dr Haas is lovely. There are two other women doctors there, also very good.

And yes Dr Brothers is very nice.

Thanks :)
Thanks Sophie, I'm up for a bit if hippy doctoring. My current one throws antibiotics at us before we've got through the door!
There are a couple of female docs now at chestnut park surgery on St Anne's rd. Dr Katharada is good.

Response via Twitter:

Green Lanes is the eastern boundary for the Queenswood practice in Park Road N8.  There are 4 male doctors and 10 women doctors, albeit that several are part timers.  A bus journey on the 144 maybe, but I have found several very supportive doctors there.  3074 2402.  There is also a pharmacy on site, very convenient.

Hi Jemma,
The Heron Practice at John Scott Health Centre (on Green Lanes past Manor House tube station but before the reservoir) used to be a female only practice but they now have one male doctor. The surgery is amazing, the doctors are amazing, the admin staff are amazing. Well worth joining.
