Harringay, Haringey - So Good they Spelt it Twice!
Can anyone recommend a damp expert for plaster issues?
We appear to have some sort of damp issue on one of our internal walls which has caused the plaster to crumble off the wall and leave some sort of salt deposits. I'm not sure if I need a damp expert or a plasterer for this issue but has anyone either had similar problems and/or can recommend a tradesman to fix this?

We were recommended a guy called Dave Abbot- +44 7836 293952
We have not actually sued him (yet) as we are waiting to see if the damp issue drys out, but he was very sensible when he came round to look at our problem, and I felt he knew what he was talking about.

That's a very odd recommendation! He seemed sensible but you're considering suing him?

Hahaha. A touch of sausage fingers and a dash of dyslexia and hey presto. A perfectly good relationship ends in the courts. Suing = using!!!!

After a year of their advertising on the site I had JPM do a damp survey for our kitchen. I got what seems like a thorough and professional report. Since they don't carry out any of the work they recommend, they're more likely to give an independent opinion.
I can confirm that unlike Justin, we're not thinking of suing our damp surveyor.
