Can anyone help with my psychology research?
Are there any kind people out there who can help me meet my psychology deadline by participating in my study?
I need guinea pigs willing to play the ultimatum game -- and if this has brought to mind ideas of a rodent Dick Turpin (your raw carrots or your life...) what follows will be a serious disappointment.
I'm conducting a psychology experiment which, put simply, involves bargaining. There are two players -- a proposer (P) and a responder (R) -- and one sum of money. P offers R a share of the money; if R accepts, then both players receive a share; but, if R refuses, then neither player receives anything. A win-win or a lose-lose situation.
All that's involved is sending a couple of emails; and, because they will be mediated by me, it will be completely anonymous and confidential. Sadly the money involved is entirely notional. But you will get the warm glow of having helped me a lot -- and even metaphorical warmth can only be a good thing at the moment.
I'll be running the experiment next week so, if you think you can help, I'd be very grateful if you could email me before then, and I'll send you some more information

Yes, as soon as the study's finished and I've written it up, I'll send a copy to any participants who are interested. Needless to say, anonymity will be preserved throughout. Although it's only a very small-scale study, it's something I find fascinating, and I'd be happy to bore you with all the details once it's over
