Driving steadily at 20 mph instead of 'accelerate - stop, accelerate-stop,' also helps the traffic flow. Green Lanes is so busy with shoppers, and pavements sometimes full, that it is a bit scary when cars speed by at close quarters at 30 mph.

The average speed is 20mph across London, but we all live off Green Lanes so it benefits us all, this would encourage a safer environment to drive, has anyone done their driving test recently, it's all about anticipation and checking points of visibility.

I drove from the Arena to Turnpike Lane yesterday at about 3.30 pm. Due to the traffic at no time did I manage to top 10 mph.

I don't see the problem
