Cakewalk Revival at Ally Pally

The Cakewalk Revival at Ally Pally last night was amazing! I wasn't expecting it to be exactly "my thing" but the music, the dancing and the sheer energy and enjoyment of the people was magical. 

It was great event organised by Sally Wood http://www.thepeoplespalace.org.uk/ which was attended and loved by all ages from the tiniest tot (mine) to some very lively older folk, who certainly know how to swing. A perfect use of the venue too, as Ally Pally was designed to as a destination to provide physical recreation for the masses.

I definitely want to learn how to swing dance now.
