Harringay, Haringey - So Good they Spelt it Twice!
But is it art? No really, is it?
A painting on a sheet of glass appeared on Roseberry a few days ago. Then it rematerialised around the corner on Sussex, leaning against a garage door. I saw someone pondering it, then taking pictures. And then this. (See picture.)
There's something about the way it has smashed... Am I losing the plot? Or is this a piece of fly-tipping inspired creativity?
Someone's parked their 4x4 over it now.
(The glass had broken into fairly smooth pieces; I think it's safety glass, anyway.)

But was it "street art"? Or dumped trash?
Fly-tipper or "creative"? Or maybe it's an "intervention"? Or a "provocation"?
"Found art"? Perhaps litter "assisted" to become art? A "readymade" or a more worthy object - Un objet trouvé? Something which used to be a small, perhaps even valuable and admirable tiny "piece" of glass street art.Un petit d'un petit which fell off a wall, Pam?

These wonderful thought-provoking street art pieces were unsigned. Which tends to suggest they are by the ever-generous Woodsy as she donates much of her work to Haringey's annual "Art in the Open" Festival.
However the style is more like Beige Period Planksy.

Those people who have spotted similar fly-tipping/street art - did it look similar? What I'm trying to ascertain is whether there's someone behind all this.

Er absolutely smashing? But surely it is only art if it was deliberate and thus a creation. More like that Tracey Emin's daft unmade bed!? So worth an absolute fortune - anyone gather it up?
