Harringay, Haringey - So Good they Spelt it Twice!

The Journal confirms that the bus strike across the capital is to go ahead tomorrow (Fri). Transport for London (TfL) is advising residents to check if their route has been disrupted before they set off on their journeys tomorrow as drivers embark on a one-day strike: www.tfl.gov.uk/buses

" An injunction stopping a planned strike by the majority of London bus workers
seeking more pay during the Olympics has been issued by the High Court."

( according to the BBC )

No mention of that on tfl website yet- probably best to check in the morning.

I don't think Arriva are on strike as they were one of the companies that took out an injunction - as of 10o'clock BBC news last night.

BBC update -

Bus workers from 18 companies will go-ahead with a planned 24-hour strike in
London despite a High Court injunction, Unite union has said.

As Liz says, check in the morning.

I understand that the three companies that won injunctions are Metroline, London General and Arriva the Shires (Watford routes, not North/South London). London General run the 67, 259, 476 and W4 through Tottenham, and Metroline run the 43, 134 and W7 and a few other routes to the west.

Suffice to say, if the 67 and W4 are the only routes in the area running tomorrow, they will be extremely busy.
