(Not strictly entirely Harringay focussed, but I hope it's ok to post?)
The Royal Photographic Society recently launched The Breathing London Project which will run until 17th April 2017 (Easter Monday). It aims to capture the diversity of London’s green and open spaces – the ‘lungs’ of the city – over a year. Anyone can take part using any device which captures images, including phones and tablets. You don’t have to be an RPS member.
Images can be taken in any publicly accessible space: parks, heaths, woodlands, nature reserves, rivers, canals and more in any of London’s 32 Boroughs an the City of London are In. They can capture landscapes, cityscapes, nature, people enjoying and working in the open spaces.
Private gardens, unless part of an official scheme such as the London Open Gardens scheme, are not.
A fee of £10 for RPS Members, £15 for Non-Members, will entitle you to Author rights on the Breathing London Website.
