I dropped by Crouch End's newest restaurant a couple of days back, the Blue Legume on the corner of Crouch Hill and Haringey Park. It's run by Murat Poyraz who also runs the Blue Legume in Islington. (Apparently although he also started the one on Stoke Newington Church Street, he's handed that over to his brother).
Murat also did the interior design - and a very nice job he did too. Currently open till 6PM, Murat has plans for late night opening soon.
(I took these photos on the same day as the Bottle Apostle ones, armed only with my iPhone. So please excuse the quality)
The Blue Legume's website address is thebluelegume.co.uk, but at the time of writing seems not be working.

I like the one in Stoke Newington although it does get packed by 11 on a Saturday. I'm sure this will be up to the same high standards.
I dropped in to the Blue Legume today with a friend. The service was friendly and the atmosphere relaxed. The food was fresh and tasty.
We are definitely spoilt for choice in Crouch End with so many fantastic places to eat. Whether for a meal, snack, cup of tea or coffee.
What happened to the World Cafe? Bob Dylan amongst others went there.
Try this thread.
The times they are a-changing.
