Having had a lovely starter of Whitebait followed by a delicious dish of Penne Calabrese last night, I would like to remind members how good and underrated Bianca, the Italian restaurant at 419 Green Lanes, is. They also do fantastic pizza. It's very good value, and I've never been disappointed.
Here's a link that shows location and front:
Bianca on Google - Reviews etc
but I also took a photo (not a very good one, admittedly) inside last night:

Yes, I’ve had many a takeaway pizza from Bianca over the years (always delicious) but rarely seen more than a couple of tables occupied when collecting. I think the ambience is too austere and it feels functional rather than inviting, which is a shame.
Yes - we went last night - the first time in many years and had a really good meal. Very fresh food and well cooked and flavoured. The prices seemed from a different age. It certainly should be much busier.
