Hi guys,
Just wanted to share an idea i had in regards to a benefits discussion i watched on the television last night.
In my opinion with exception to disabled people and other people who would not qualify to work any persons claiming benefits because they cannot get a job should do community work in order to be able to collect the benefits at the end of the week?
after all they are looking for work right? theres so many jobs that could be done in the area countless ones.
what are your views?

Here's an idea - as four times more is spent on Housing Benefit than on ESA, lets get private landlords to do a day a week each working in the community.
A large part of the benefits go to people who are in work but not earning enough to live – especially as accommodation costs rise to vertiginous levels. If the minimum wage was upped to the living wage (and real affordable housing was built), it would be employers who paid those "benefits" and not the tax payer.
