Harringay, Haringey - So Good they Spelt it Twice!

Beautiful Black Cat in Mattison - is he lost? is he yours?

Hi, just got home to find a beautiful young black cat, no collar/name outside my house in Mattison (mid 40s).  Being very friendly to everyone who comes by and seems a bit lost and also hungry - he ran up the stairs into my place and protested when I took him back out.  My partner saw him(?) over an hour ago by the bridge behaving similarly.  We've not fed him or taken him in - we don't recognise him and wonder if he's strayed into new territory and is a bit lost.  He's obviously very well loved and cared for and wonder if there's someone missing him.

It's risky for a cat to be out the front on the road due to the danger of cars plus not everyone is friendly to cats. It's much better for a cat to have catflap access to a back garden. Also cats should be safe inside at night. The cat may have got lost or got out the front by mistake. You could get the cat scanned to see if microchipped, any vet will do it for free. Hopefully the cat is microchipped which makes it easy to contact the owner.

Another black cat in the same area noted in April, wonder if it is the same.

There was a gorgeous young black cat round the front of mine in mattison road, few weeks ago. Was a bit concerned but offered him my cats low calorie, low fat, 5/ day healthy food option and he was even less impressed than my poor malnurished black moggie
If it's the same cat, he appears very well looked after. Here I'm assuming he is micro chipped and has a cat flap to come and go
No they shouldn't be round the front, and I like to think mine don't, but having had a call from a neighbour at the bottom of the road who found my cat,s collar in her front garden.im obviously ignoring the obvious bad behaviour of mine
