Putting woodchip on the paths, managing the vegetation, building a badger barrier and creating an additional standing dead wood habitat for rare stag beetles in this limited access woodland space.

Woodland Management at Lordship Recreation Ground
Managing a small woodland to help protect this important wildlife area within this large park, which has a new straw bale eco building. We will be removing dogwood to improve sight lines and planting drought-resistant plants in park beds.Free hot lunch.
