Harringay, Haringey - So Good they Spelt it Twice!

Banksy Slave Labour mural up for auction again. BBC article.

A spokesman for the auctioneers Sincura said the mural "has been sensitively
restored under a cloak of secrecy", and will go on show alongside pieces by
Damien Hirst, Andy Warhol, Mario Testino and Russell Young.

Slave Labour will go on sale at the London Film Museum on 2 June.

The website says "Sincura group, your gateway to a VIP life", for £95 a month you are VIP enough to go to the auction and have the chance to spend £450,000 on something we all had for free in Wood Green.  That makes us the VIPs as we got there first and didn't need to buy our way in.

And here's Sincura's Banksy event blurb. The company's 'About' page starts with, 'The Sincura Group started as a secret organisation open buildings and access through our unique networks.' ( ?! )

HQ seems to be based at a Manor house near Wokingham. Tony Baxter is the CEO. Clearly Tony is a well connected individual according to Haute Living, which has plenty there about him. Of course Sincura is merely providing the event in which the piece is to be sold and they have sold Banksy pieces before.

Reminds me of this chap  http://www.davenporttrust.com/

Please tell me that's not a real person!

Very real and very really in prison for 8 years .

You made into German TV back then.. perhaps again..?

Ah Jaysus no! Not again!  "Return our Banksy" T-shirts (Genuine Dhaka or is it Dakar) at 25p from Primark. 99 HOL discussion pages booked up already by the artyfartyheartsonkeyboard crowd. Let me remigrate to real life somewhere south of the Sahara or Bangladesh.

Last night I had the strangest dream
I'd never dreamed at night
That Claire and Joe and Lynne agreed
To paint their houses white

For Kober, Goldberg, Featherstone
I dreamed their walls and roofs
Had ladders propped around each one
As artists stencilled truths

And as the colours dripped and spread
Great masterpieces sprayed
The politicians bowed their head
And grateful pray'rs were prayed

“We give you art. Now give us votes.”
The Pols begged Haringey
And laughter rose from many throats
“We weren’t born yesterday.”

"Why miss ME out?" young Lammy cried,

"Or treat my tweets as jokes?

Elect my chiaroscuro side -

That's black-on-white, like papal holy smokes."
