Finsbury Park, near Manor House gate
I TOOK these photos at about 17:30 this afternoon. I cannot say that that these floodlights were on all day, but I can say that the generator (diesel?) was humming away at 13:10 this afternoon.
Providing flood-lighting at about the middle of the day—and probably for more than four hours.
That was the only one running this afternoon, but there are currently five other rented generators for temporary lighting in Finsbury Park between this and Endymion Road.

£105,000 on lighting
Some limited information about the monies raised and spent on Finsbury Park was disclosed in Haringey Council's Overview and Scrutiny Committee report last October (17MB, here). On page 201, the following information was included as to how money raised from Finsbury Park Events in 2015/16 was spent:
Access lighting to and from Track and Gym £105,000
On Twitter today, the Council furnished the following statement about the £105,000 cost of "Access lighting":
This is the cost of permanent as well as temp lighting while we’re waiting for that to be installed
It's not clear how much of the £105,000 is expenditure on permanent lighting and how much on temporary lighting "while we're waiting for [permanent lighting] to be installed", but in any event, it looks like there's money—and oil—to burn.
(Last night at another OSC meeting, the Council declined to break down the £755,000 figure into its Wireless component). There remains opacity about the finances.

No, I don't think so. There are film trucks currently parked up over on the tarmac area near the Oxford Road gate entrance, but this is some distance away.
The six telescopic lighting rigs form a chain running East-West across the park between the Endymion Road and Manor House entrances. It seems to match the OSC report item, Access lighting to and from Track and Gym: £105,000.
£105,000 is a significant proportion of the money raised by events.
