A report published by Shelter last week ranked Haringey as having the second highest rate of homelessness in the country.

The release of Shelter's report coincides with one by developer Southern Grove, which revealed that the building of affordable housing in London has collapsed by as much as 62%,
The number of new affordable homes created in Haringey between 2010/11 and 2018/19 has fallen by almost 35% on a like-for-like basis.
The housing policy or NON-policy is so shameful of our governments. See also STREETLINK.ORG.UK
Can someone please explain How any Government / Party, can ever get enough Housing
For a Nation that grows at the rate UK is . Recent reports state at least 8 million in the last Ten years
Especially when people want and demand to live in certain areas
New Towns and Cities need to be built . With Planned public Services - Schools / Clinics and Hospitals
As building Blocks in the Sky is not only putting preasures on Local Services
But also not life for families with Children
I am surprised with Haringey Property Stock that the Borough does not have a Homeless Centre
Also aware that many homeless have issues living or staying in Centres. Be it having animals or drug issues
