As I said earlier, this is NOT a BBC advertisement. It was placed by Creative Access, a pressure group which sponsors applications from BAME individuals.

A BBC advertisement would not refer to " news junkies "

This is a tiny number of posts compared to the huge staff complement at the BBC. The Beeb has recognised that the way they recruit does not result in a healthy mix in the Corporation and this tiny step is a very modest attempt to rebalnce thingsbalance
