Apprenticeships open days

Haringey Adult Learning Service (HALS) has launched a new drive to encourage more young people to take up apprenticeships.

The service will hold an open day on the last Friday of every month at Wood Green Central Library at 10am.

The open day will focus on helping young people aged 16-18 interested in apprenticeships in business and administration, customer service and ICT. Courses for level 2 and 3 are available.

The service also offers a Foundation Learning Programme for young people who need help in English, Maths and ICT, along with a choice of vocational qualifications in Business Administration, Customer Service or ICT and a qualification in Personal Social Development.

To apply for any of these programmes open days are held on the second floor at Wood Green Library at 10am.
