Anyone know someone who can fix a door intercom?
our flat and 1 of our neighbours can hop longer communicate with folk when they ring our bell. We can hear them but they cannot hear us. It doesn't have yteh opening the door function and we don;t want it to--just need to be able to say hello yes I'm coming down so the blessed delivery folk don;t wander off before we make it down to the bottom....
our electrician wasn't up for looking at it so need to find someone who knows what they're doing with such a thing

These systems are relatively simple. Usually problems are caused by faulty (usually dirty) connections. Sounds like you may have a problem with the microphone bit at your end, or the speaker bit at the front door end. You can try spraying WD40 into the connections. There are few problems like that that a dose of WD40 won't fix. Good luck!
