Any suggestions where to get a Christmas tree in or near Wood green ?

Outside the laundrette at 603 Green Lanes N8 and in the forecourt across the street from there.  Not very near Wood Green tube but not far from Turnpike Lane.

They are usually for sale on Wood Green High Road, Brampton Road junction.

If you want posher trees and more choice, try the Ally Pally garden centre.

Thanks but not the ally pally garden centre, never the ally pally garden centre. That place might just be the most expensive garden centre in the universe.

Aliens wince when they fly over the terracotta pot section of that place every time.

It's why most of Venus fly traps are closed, they spite them for the price point audacity using long distance alien protest pokey technology.

LOL, yes that's true, not the cheapest place.

The Wood Green High Rosd guy will be a lot cheaper (although I think the day of really cheap Christmas Trees is long gone)

They have a christmas tree stall on the High Street near the big green bookshop.  nicola
