My pond used to teem with frogs, but since we 'refurbished' it a few years back we're frogless. Does anyone have a bit of frog spawn I can used to try and encourage them back?

Mine has already turned to tadpoles, you are both welcome to some...
Trent park, has two ponds with loads of frog spawn and tadpoles in them! I'm not sure if you are allowed to take a few for your ponds but perhaps you could ask the council to see if you can get permission.
Just to add to this, for those of you who don't know Trent park is in Oakwood/Cockfosters so quite local!
In an era of sperm banks and frozen egg facilities, where in vitro fertilisation in old jam jars is old hat, is it too much to expect a Frog Spawn Bank for Harringay's higher pond-life class? Lidl, Iceland - there's a niche market for you.
