Are there any local bike shops that sell cargo bikes (the ones with the big boxes at the front)?

Hello! There are a few options, depending on what you define as 'local'!

https://www.carryme.org.uk/ are over in Hackney, about 20 minutes away by bike. They can also advise what sort of cargo bike might suit you.

www.peddlemywheels.com, run a 'try before you bike' scheme on behalf of the council, have two cargo cycles available to order for delivery to your home.

Finally, Butternut Bikes in Crouch End use a cargo bike for deliveries so will be knowledgeable about options and may be able to order cargo bikes in.
